Hotel restaurant Corona is a well known establishment in The Hague, situated in a monumental building facing one of the main squares in the historical centre of the city. To accompany the renovation of the hotel and the upgrade of the restaurant, welcoming a new chef, the owners asked Bureau Kroner to design a new closed veranda at the front of the building and a completely new interior for the bar, restaurant, kitchen spaces and private meeting rooms.

The design combines a contemporary structure that respects the classical elevation of the building in its modesty, with a stylish and spatial new interior.

Carefully conceived structural renovation of the historical building is accompanied by new elegant spatial elements such as an undulating ceiling that adds considerably to the spaciousness of the interior, visually connecting inside and outside.

Specially designed elements such as a new bar add to the harmony of the interior, giving it an international allure.

With our design, the hotel and restaurant are given a new impulse, that effectively enhances the standard of excellence that the owners strive to achieve.
